![]() ![]() Flash Player ActiveX (Windows 8 ) is still in the list, but, as I told you, it is only for Internet Explorer. Now the Flash Player Plugin has dissapeared from the list of updated programs, and Avast does not update nor notify that it is not updated. Just to recap, what I am talking about is the Flash Player Plugin (for Firefox and many other browsers like Opera or Safari), that was updated before by the Software Updater tool in Avast 8, along with the other Flash Player ActiveX (Windows 8 ) plugin (for Internet Explorer). And, of course, I had Firefox closed when I checked the Software Updater just to see that the Flash Player Plugin was not there. I even reset the Software Updater database in Avast, and still does not work. Avast and AVGs extensions are now once again available on the Firefox store after Avast reduced the amount of data sent by its extensions and updated its privacy policies to explain to users. Updates are usually released on a daily basis. ![]() if your computer does not have an Internet connection. ![]() Update files can also be downloaded from these pages if required e.g. I activated it just for testing and still does not work. The availability of a new version is checked when an Internet connection is established, and every four hours afterwards. I also have Avast WebRep listed there in Extensions, but Deactivated. In the Addons tool in Firefox, in Plugins I have Shockwave Flash 1.7.700.169 listed and Activated. ![]()
